Find A Theme You Love

My son loves lions and when his new room was finally finished I promised to make a feature wall for him! Up until then it was very magnolia in there A blank canvas that didn’t reflect his personality or add any character into the room.

In many ways he is like the creature he has adored since he was tiny. He can be a bit wild and is so loud he might as well roar at times. But he is loyal and fiercely protective of his family so lions suit his personality perfectly. Sometimes his hair can look more like a mane too! He has curls if he lets it grow longer and it has such volume!

He was so excited when the prints arrived he couldn’t wait to see them on the wall. He was also looking forward to showing his friend. We ordered the Lion poster, the B&W Lion and the Lioness, such magnificent creatures. It’s lovely seeing him so enthusiastic for his room taking shape. I think lions are a good creature to feature, not only because he loves them so much. But because in terms of symbolism they represent strength and courage. Looking at those beautiful prints will inspire him to be brave and to stand up for his beliefs! How different he is to his brother, he prefers rabbits. Both of their chosen creatures couldn’t suit them better.

As it was such a nice room all freshly plastered and looking good, I didn’t want him having posters with blu tac marking the walls and damaging them. It’s the first room of the house we have properly finished so every little detail needed to be right. Fortunately, Desenio have framed prints that look great and are affordable.
