Last minute Christmas Gift Guide
Since my previous Christmas gift guide I have had a few last-minute suggestions that I really had to share. Yes, Christmas is ONLY 8 days away, eek! I hope you’re almost ready but if not these last few ideas might help you out.
A Gift for the Drinkers
A lovely novelty gift for the gin drinkers in your household is the Pickering’s Gin Baubles (£30). This gift was hugely popular last year, all the stock (30,000 baubles) sold out in 82 seconds flat. Fortunately, the company made plenty more this year (1,000,000 in total) to make sure no one had to miss out. So, if you really want a MERRY Christmas this is the gift to buy.
There is still time to order for Christmas delivery too – if your quick that is! Guaranteed Christmas delivery ends this Monday the 17th at 12pm! The pack includes 6 brightly coloured baubles to brighten up your tree with each one containing a double measure of gin! Just remember not to leave them within reach of children (gin is too precious to share!).
Keeping with the gin theme did you know Not On The High Street have a Christmas pudding flavoured one, infused with raisins, cherry, lemon, cinnamon and nutmeg!!! Tempted? If you are do your research first to find the best Not On The High Street voucher codes as a bottle will set you back £35.
Christmas Gifts For Her
When it come for last minute gifts for her, I can sometime draw a blank. Do I go all out or keep to a modest budget? Groupon have a great selection of gifts to pick from. Not only could you give a physical present but you could opt for an experience or trip away! For me I am torn between giving a Belgravia 26″ bike costing just £149.99 which is a whopping 40% saving and a two night stay in the four star Oatlands Park Hotel, which costs £209 for two nights in a Deluxe King Room, including a breakfast and a two course dinner on the first night. The benefit of gifting a trip is the ability to book it right up until Christmas Day!
Christmas Pyjamas for the Kids
Every year I like to include Christmas pyjamas as gifts for my children, it’s become something of a tradition, so the boys would be disappointed if they didn’t have any. I was looking on Marks and Spencer and found a few suitable choices. I did giggle at the wording of one set in particular “I’ve been good-ish this year” – that would sum up my two, with a lot of the emphasis on the ISH! Remember before you make a purchase to use a voucher code for Marks and Spencer, it’s an expensive time of the year so every saving counts.
Time for Pampering
7th Heaven have so many wonderful beauty treatments to pick from, suited for both men and women. You can pick them up from Asda costing just £1 each, they make thoughtful affordable gifts. Perhaps a couple of treatments, teamed up with a bottle of wine and some chocolates so the recipient can really indulge themselves. As a busy parent I like the idea of carving out some me time. Spa treatments are so pricey, but we can all bring the spa into our homes with the gift of 7th Heaven products.
Naturally it’s important to take care of your skin all year round but especially in winter when the cold winds and our reliance on central heating can play havoc with our skin. The Softening Glove Masques can make all the difference transforming your dried-out hands and their deep conditioning Argan Oil Rescue Hair Masque treatment can work wonders for your hair and beard. The peel off masks are great too, they helped unblock my pores and have really improved my complexion. Just spending a few minutes a week can have a huge impact on the condition of your skin.
The Gift of Style
It’s amazing how a suit can transform you, making you feel confident and self-assured. Dobell is an excellent choice if you want to pick out a smart gift for someone special. They even have a sale on at the moment, so it couldn’t be better timing! If you want to feel very festive why not pick out a Christmas suit covered in snowmen in a bright red material – well it’s one way to be noticed over the holidays! You’re in good hands with Dobell anyway, they launched back in 2003 and have become a leading store for formal wear, customers have come to rely on the quality of their suits and excellent customer care.
To go along side a stylish suit, you need to ensure you keep your self dry and warm in whatever the weather will throw at you over these winter months. So you might be well advised to gift him a winter jacket, there are so many to pick from over at Blacks Outdoor.
I particularly like The North Face Men’s Tansa Softshell Jacket currently on offer at £120.00. It’s sure to make a lasting impression for seasons to come!
For those who enjoy crafting
If you know someone who likes to craft (my mother in law is a HUGE fan!) why not have a look at the Spectrum Noir website. Colouring in can be very relaxing for adults, helping them unwind and take things slowly. Your brain can switch off, your blood pressure decrease and you can find your happy place again, yes the health experts are going wild for the advantages of adult colouring! The Colorista Card Making Kits (RRP £5.99) make nice gifts, the recipient can enjoy all the health benefits of colouring and then pass on the completed cards (6 in each pack) to their loved ones to admire. You can purchase them from Crafter’s Companion.
Home and Interiors Inspiration
Lumino bathroom mirrors make ideal gifts for those who love their interiors. Best of all they have some that are battery operated so you don’t need to worry about the wiring, you can just make the most of the extra light! They really do help bathrooms become a bit more stylish and elegant without the hassle of worrying about hiring an electrician. In the case of the Lesto LED Battery Mirror I was sent just pop in 3xAA batteries and enjoy 70 hours of use.
