We were excited to be introduced to TAVO pet products for our dog Bella. She started life in Romania living on the streets, so when we rescued her, we wanted her to have the very best of everything. I am pleased to say that the Tavo Maeve Pet Carrier and Roscoe Stroller definitely delivers in that respect.

The entire TAVO pet protection system includes the Maeve Pet Carrier (suitable for dogs and cats), the Roscoe Stroller and the TAVO car seat base. All together it’s a £950 investment, but this is a very high end product range. The quality is evident in every little detail, you are getting premium safety features and a luxury finish. So, if you have the budget available, it is certainly a worthwhile purchase to make.

Roscoe Stroller

The Roscoe Stroller folds down to a manageable size for your boot. It was very simple to fold too, some strollers we have had in the past for the children have been such a battle we would literally dread folding them. We would argue over who’s turn it was to manhandle it into the boot. This is definitely not a stroller you will lose your temper with!

Everything about it makes it easy to use from the big back wheels helping navigate bumpy terrains to the included storage options, with a useful space for your phone, your coffee and dog treats. Underneath the stroller there is a generous basket giving you even more room. So, you can take your pop up dog bowl, water and maybe a towel so you can dry off your fur baby when it’s been paddling in the sea. It can hold up to 10lbs, so you have plenty of options.

The one-touch stroller brake was very effective, so I was happy to leave Bella in situ whilst I took this photograph. Isn’t she adorable!

Vegans will be delighted to read that the leather detailing on the stroller is made from Vegan Leather. I think its lovely that TAVO really care about all animals not just our dogs and cats.

Maeve Car Seat

I think there is a good choice of colours in the Maeve car seat. We went for the Onyx, but you also have Merle, Fawn, Brindle and Sable. All five variants are tasteful colours. The Maeve car seat is very luxurious with a choice of two colour mattresses and liners. We opted for the white to hide dog hairs, Bella is always shedding little white hairs everywhere she goes! So, it’s a thoughtful touch having that choice.

The Maeve Car Seat also doubles as a dog bed. I love how convenient that is. Now our children are getting older it will be lovely having more UK holidays where our precious pooch can join us, saving on dog boarding fees which would soon build up. Plus, we won’t have to worry about packing her dog bed. That will be a relief for anyone with a small boot.

The canopy is useful to provide your dog with shade when you have it connected up to the Roscoe Stroller. Dogs can soon overheat on hot days, so I like having that option to shelter them and protect them from the weather.

TAVO Car Seat Base

The Maeve car seat sits rigidly in the TAVO car seat base. It felt like a very secure and safe design. I liked that it was easy to check if it was installed correctly, all you have to do is wait for the coloured indicator to turn green. That reassurance is very welcome, as you can sometimes second guess whether you have done it right. This way you can relax and be satisfied your dog is as safe as possible. I cannot think of a better way to help take care of your dog.

TAVO bases itself on making the life of our pets and ourselves better, just by helping us be able to share more precious moments together. Elderly and infirm dogs can still enjoy adventures with their owners. Likewise, new pups who tired easily can still join their owners on outings. All dogs enjoy time with their owners.
