Wow so that is the year done and dusted, I cannot believe time is flying so fast! With all that being said, it feels like the year has been one of great change and uncertainty. One thing however is for sure as they say, death and taxes!
With the sheer number of celebrities that have sadly passed away this year, my wife also sadly lost her uncle. So here is my Reflection of 2016 and Goals for 2017, thanks Lorna for the tag!
What was your highlight of 2016?
My highlight for the year has to be when we attended a Legoland starwars event in Windors, the boys had dressed up, with Youngest being Darth Vader, there were so many Storm Troopers often marching around, all saluting our little Lord Vader, or when Chewbacca saw him and ran!
Name one thing you are likely to remember about 2016 if asked in five years time?
It would have to be our trip to Lanzarote, I do not like to be out of my comfort zone which in itself is not that small (mainly the UK!) but I must say the journey was easy and the location we chose was simply fantastic!
Sum up 2016 in one word.
Name one pearl of wisdom from 2016 that you will carry through 2017.
Its not really a pearl of wisdom, but 2017 looks quite daunting from where I am sitting at the moment, so I plan to adapt, persevere and accomplish!
Do you have any new year resolutions?
Yes the same as every year, lose weight and get fit! (Could this year be my year!)
How are you seeing in the new year?
As my Mum would say, “stopping in”. Spending the night with the family, playing board games, its not that important to stay up until midnight is it?
What would you most like to do in 2017?
I would most like to spend more time out and about with the Mrs and our friends, especially now that the kids are getting older, I think its important that we build up our time!
What are your main goals for 2017?
My main goal is to complete our debt free plan, of course we would still have the mortgage but all the extras that we have had to pay renovating the house hopefully can be paid back by the end of 2017, leaving us to carry on and complete the much needed work on the house!
That’s me so now to you
